22 November 2012 - The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Joseph Mutaboba, on 21 November, received a technical mission from the African Development Bank (AfDB) led by Resident Representative Ms Leila Mokadem. Their discussions focused mainly on how to assist the needy populations and prospects for a return to constitutional order.

Ms. Mokadem, who heads the AfDB's Senegal Regional Office in Dakar, was accompanied by three other members of the banking institution. The delegation is in Guinea-Bissau to assess the status of implementation of projects under AfDB financing, which were suspended after the 12 April coup.
