The final Communiqué: i)insisted on maintaining the same voter register used for the legislative elections; ii)stressed that the current government must remain in place until the holding of the presidential election; iii) took note of the decision of the electoral management bodies to hold the two rounds in 2019; iv) advocated for the clarification of the responsibilities of the Secretary of State for Electoral Management; and v) called on all actors, including the Attorney General, to remain impartial in the administration of justice.
