The closing ceremony of the United Nations Integrated Office for Peacebuilding in Guinea-Bissau took place on December 11, 2020.
This year, the world celebrates the 75th anniversary of the United Nations under unprecedented circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to refocus our efforts towards the response and has brought unexpected limitations in delivering our mandates.
Over 20 civil society organizations and networks in Guinea-Bissau, on 18 June, have approved a common agenda to promote for peace and sustainable development in their country and agreed to establish a coordination mechanism for joint action.
