In its final communiqué, the delegation: (i) reiterated its support to Prime Minister Gomes and stressed the illegality of the decree dismissing its Government; (ii) commended national security and defense forces for maintaining their neutrality; and (iii) cautioned those whose decisions and actions impede the holding of the presidential election that they would be subject to individual sanctions.
