Decided: i) President Vaz to issue a decree appointing a new government before 3 July, on the basis of the proposition made by the Prime Minister; ii) the government to engage in the preparation of the presidential election to be held on 24 November 2019; iii) the President to appoint a new Attorney General to be appointed on the basis of consensus before 3 July; iv) President Vaz to stay in office until the next presidential election while the government affairs are fully conducted by the newly-formed government in line with the Constitution of Guinea-Bissau.

The Authority also extended the mandate of ECOMIB for an additional period of six months, from 1 October 2019.
