Blood Donor Day: Guinea-Bissau hospitals short of blood, people afraid to give

12 June 2015 - The National Blood Service of the National Hospital Simão Mendes is facing difficulties of blood there is no blood stock in cases of emergency and people are afraid to give or for lack information or for cultural reasons. On World Day of Voluntary Blood Donor to be celebrated this Sunday, June 14, under the theme "Thank you for saving my life" blood collections campaigns will be organized in almost all the country.
